Senior quarterback Cam Czwakiel threw two touchdown passes, rushed for two touchdowns, and recorded an interception on defense, as the Eagles (10-1) stormed past the Monarchs (9-1) to secure a berth in the Shore Conference Tournament Championship. Senior wideout Ava Loucopoulos hauled in a 58-yard touchdown, while senior wideout Kaleigh Kapler caught a 60-yard touchdown pass. Czwakiel scored on touchdown runs of 1 and 10 yards. Junior quarterback Sam Evans found sophomore wideout Brooke MacGregor on a 22-yard touchdown pass. The Eagles’ defense came away with three interceptions.

Sophomore quarterback Sonia DeRosa found senior wideout Maddie Rigney on a 25-yard touchdown pass, and freshman Maddie Dougherty found Rigney on a 37-yard touchdown pass in the loss.

Middletown South will travel to top-seeded Barnegat in the championship on Thursday.
