The Eagles (8-1, 8-1) clinched a tie for the North Division title with Holmdel by rolling past the Rockets (2-7, 2-6) thanks to a big game by senior quarterback Cam Czwakiel, who threw four touchdown passes and ran for another in the win.

Senior Ava Loucopoulos had three touchdown catches of 27, 26 and and 24 yards as well as a catch for an extra point. Sophomore Helana Thompson added a touchdown catch, senior Kaleigh Kapler had a 33-yard touchdown run and an extra-point run and Cwakiel had a 41-yard touchdown run. Senior Mel Savo also had a 40-yard touchdown catch on a pass from Jessie Dynak. 

The Eagles’ defense finished with five interceptions – one apiece for Isabella Skalaski, Phoebe Zimmerman, Emily Nugent, Katie Perry and Brooke MacGregor. Zimmerman returned hers for an 80-yard touchdown.

Central

Neptune 32, Marlboro 8

Junior quarterback Jacenia Furman completed 7-of-8 passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns and rushed five times for 73 yards and a touchdown, as the Scarlet Fliers (5-3, 5-3) defeated the Mustangs (3-8, 3-7). Junior wideout Lana Ellington hauled in four receptions for 83 yards and two touchdowns, in addition to running an interception back for a touchdown. Sophomore  Marielda Medina also recorded an interception.

South

Central 32, Brick 6

Junior quarterback Keely Gifford was 8-for-13 passing for 134 yards and four touchdowns, as the Golden Eagles (7-2, 7-2) routed the Dragons (1-7, 1-7). Sophomore wideout Olivia Delmonico hauled in four receptions for 69 yards and two touchdowns. Senior wideout Arizme Soriano caught two receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown. Junior Olivia Bowman caught two receptions for 23 yards and a touchdown.
