(2) Southern 23, (7) Kingsway 6
Sophomore midfielder Mackenzie Sininsky exploded for a career-high eight goals, as the Rams (15-4) dismantled the Dragons (7-12) to advance to their fifth consecutive sectional semifinal. Senior attacker Callie Siek matched her career high with five goals. Freshman midfielder Brynn Angelozzi finished with three goals. Junior attacker Kellyn Miller added two goals and two assists. Senior attacker Izzy Muti netted a goal and recorded three assists, surpassing 100 career points. Junior midfielder Kai Angelozzi registered a goal and two assists. Senior defender Emily Buczynski, sophomore midfielder Isla Carvajal, and senior defender Moorea Scott each chipped in with a goal. Scott’s goal was the first of her career. Senior goalie Adyson Griffin made five saves.
Southern will host the winner of (3) Montgomery in the semifinals.
(3) Montgomery 18, (6) Manalapan 6
Senior Elliana Pizzulli registered five goals and an assist, including her 300th career point, as the Cougars (14-4) eliminated the Braves (11-9), ending the careers of the winningest senior class in program history.
Senior midfielder Madison Alcantara scored a team-high four goals, while junior Aryelle Stein added two goals in the loss.
Manalapan graduates eight seniors including Alcantara, who finished her career with 222 points, and goalie Jordan Horowitz who recorded over 300 career saves.
The Braves return several impact performers including Stein, who will enter her final season with 308 career points.
North Jersey Group 3
(3) Morris Knolls 16, (6) Middletown South 10
Senior midfielder Lucia Nash erupted for nine goals, as the Golden Eagles (7-12) eliminated the Eagles (12-7).
Sophomore attacker Ashley Penn netted three goals in the loss. Senior midfielder Abigail Gallagher and junior attacker Hayley Jamison each registered two goals and an assist. Senior attacker Anna Stumberger added a goal.
Middletown South will graduate a handful of seniors including Stumberger and Gallagher, who recorded 196 and 122 career points respectively.
The Eagles are projected to return numerous underclassmen including Jamison, Penn, and midfielder Alexis Marquis.
(4) Red Bank 14, (5) Ridge 7
Senior midfielder Karlie Ruland netted four goals, as the Bucs (14-6) topped the Red Devils (16-5). Senior attacker Chloe Keating registered three goals and four assists. Sophomore attacker Maddie Pierson finished with three goals and three assists. Senior midfielder Kathleen Deverin added two goals. Senior midfielder Kate Meulener and freshman Madelyn Doody each added a goal. Freshman attacker Ava Loucks recorded two assists, while senior Rilynn Kilcooley added one assist. Senior goalie Nora Tavares made 18 saves.
Red Bank will travel to (1) Chatham in the semifinals.
South Jersey Group 3
(1) Moorestown 17, (8) Central 4
Junior Tess Murphy registered two goals and three assists to lead a balanced scoring effort, as the Quakers (14-5) eliminated the Golden Eagles (11-9).
Sophomore Addison Frulio scored three goals, while junior Logan Lisewski added a goal in the loss.
Central graduates five seniors including second-leading scorer Brianna Nelson and versatile defenders Emma Christensen and Claudia Scarpitti.
The Golden Eagles return a deep group of underclassmen led by Frulio.
(2) Ocean City 15, (7) Toms River East 1
Junior attacker Laurel Munning registered three goals and an assist, as the Red Raiders (17-4) eliminated the Raiders (12-8).
Junior Kacey Briles scored the lone goal in the loss.
Toms River East will graduate four seniors including Allison Momm, who scored 173 career points, defender Gianna Pascale, who scooped up 102 career ground balls and forced 48 turnovers, goalie Angelina Murray, who recorded over 200 career saves, and midfielder Keira Carney.
The Raiders will have a host of talented returners including second-leading scorer Ciley Francis, Briles, Charlotte Standfast, and Libby Dickman.
North Jersey Group 2
(3) Pascack Valley 12, (11) Holmdel 4
South Jersey Group 2
(4) Barnegat 10, (5) Cinnaminson 3
Junior Sadie Guiro registered four goals and two assists, as the Bengals (17-4) prevailed over the Pirates (12-7). Junior Ella Tortorici finished with two goals and four assists, including her 200th career point. Senior Lizzie Medina recorded two goals and three assists. Junior Molly Carroll added two goals. Medina and junior Jayla Duff each forced four turnovers. Senior goalie Allie Soden made 10 saves.
Barnegat will travel to (1) Allentown in the semifinals.
(2) Manasquan 19, (7) Cedar Creek 9
Sophomore midfielder Chloe Stevens poured in six goals, as the Warriors (9-8) pulled away from the Pirates (10-11) with six goals in the second quarter to turn a 4-3 lead into a 10-3 lead. Junior attacker Sarah Sharpe finished with three goals and an assist. Senior midfielder Ellie Sitar scored three goals. Junior attacker Sterling Blum tallied two goals and two assists. Junior midfielder Dylan Carnahan added two goals. Junior attacker Anella Petracco and midfielder Mackenzie Longo each scored a goal and dished out an assist. Sophomore attacker Olive O’Reilly chipped in with a goal. Sophomore attacker Sabrina Boyle, sophomore defender Brooke Mack, and freshman midfielder Summer Sharpe each recorded an assist. Senior goalie Alexandra Stamos made three saves.
Manasquan will host (3) Seneca in the semifinals.
South Jersey Group 1
(1) Haddonfield 18, (8) Point Boro 7
Senior Lauren Hamblin registered five goals and an assist, as the Bulldawgs (16-2) eliminated the Panthers (15-5), ending one of Point Boro’s best seasons in program history.
Senior midfielder Francesca Skowronski scored a team-high two goals in the loss. Five other players added a goal including senior attacker Lily Scalabrini, junior attacker Aubrey Gilbert, junior midfielders Lucy Hauser and Aubree Piemonte, and sophomore midfielder Grace Tansey.
Point Boro graduates five seniors from one of their most productive classes in school history including Skowronski, Scalabrini, goalkeeper Sloane Schwertheim, defender Catherine Potter, and attacker Savannah Pfeffer.
(2) Rumson-Fair Haven 23, (7) Woodstown 10
Junior attacker Chloe Kelly scored five goals, as the Bulldogs (15-5) raced past the Wolverines (10-8). Junior attacker Reese Lydon compiled four goals and four assists. Senior midfielder Chase Memmott registered four goals and three assists. Sophomore attacker Becca Newell and sophomore midfielder Celia Benedetto each registered two goals and three assists. Junior midfielder Aly Megaw finished with two goals and an assist. Junior attacker Emma Kroll scored two goals. Senior attacker Reagan Haley and junior defender Harbour Goldsmith each added a goal.
Rumson-Fair Haven head coach Amy O’Keefe earned her 400th career win.
The Bulldogs will host the winner of (3) New Providence and (6) Haddon Township in the semifinals.
