No. 10 Point Boro 14, Freehold Township 4

Junior attacker Aubrey Gilbert netted a career-high five goals as the Panthers (3-2) rolled over the Patriots (3-3) behind an eight-goal second quarter. Senior attacker Lily Scalabrini registered four goals and three assists. Sophomore midfielder Grace Tansey finished with a career-high three goals. Junior Aubree Piemonte and sophomore Sage Staats also added a goal. Senior goalie Sloane Schwertheim saved nine shots.

Sophomore Brooke Jenkins scored two goals in the loss. Senior Reese Metcalfe added a goal and an assist, while senior May Luxenberg also added a goal.

Ocean 15, St. John Vianney 9

Lacey 15, Colts Neck 8

Sophomore Emily Slota exploded for seven goals and dished out three assists, surpassing the 100 career-point mark in the process, to lead the Lions (2-5) past the Cougars (2-2). Senior Amelia Mazur poured in five goals and recorded four assists. Junior Addison Papa added two goals and an assist. Sophomore Anna Sommers registered her first-career goal and assist. Sophomore goalie Molly Barneman recorded 16 saves.

No. 9 Manalapan 17, Middletown North 3

Junior midfielder Aryelle Stein poured in six goals and dished out three assists as the Braves (5-1, 1-1) routed the Lions (2-3, 1-1). Senior Julia Murray scored a career-high four goals and added two assists. Senior attacker Charlotte Paulin registered three goals and two assists. Senior midfielder Madison Alcantara finished with three goals. Juniors Brooke Lordi and Madison Zaleski each added a goal and an assist. Senior goalie Jordan Horowitz recorded two saves.

No. 2 Southern 8, No. 8 Barnegat 5

Senior attacker Callie Siek set a new career high in points with three goals and one assist to lead the Rams (4-1) handed the rival Bengals (4-1) their first loss of the season. Sophomore midfielder Mackenzie Sininsky registered two goals, one assist, 11 draw controls, seven ground balls, and six forced turnovers. Senior attacker Izzy Muti added a goal and an assist. Senior defender Emily Buczynski and junior midfielder Kai Angelozzi each scored a goal. Sophomore attacker Jayden Georgesen recorded an assist. Senior goalie Adyson Griffin saved 10 shots which included her 500th career save.

Junior midfielder Ella Tortorici netted three goals in the loss. Senior Lizzie Medina added two goals. Senior Allie Soden recorded eight saves.

Non-Conference

Trinity Hall 18, Bridgewater-Raritan 5

Junior attacker O’Malley Eldridge erupted for a career-high eight goals, and junior midfielder Chiara Donahue poured in six goals and dished out two assists as the Monarchs (4-0) dominated the Panthers (2-5), who began the season ranked in NJ Advance Media’s statewide poll. Sophomore midfielder Lyla Lu added a goal and four assists. Sophomore attacker Sarina DeRosa registered a goal and three assists. Junior attacker Rosie Spiropoulos and senior defender Winnie Popham also added a goal.

Moorestown 13, No. 5 Manasquan 2

Freshman Brynn Richards scored four goals and recorded an assist as the Quakers (4-0) routed the Warriors (4-2). The Quakers are ranked third in the state according to NJ Advance Media.

Senior midfielder Ellie Sitar registered a goal and an assist in the loss. Junior attacker Anella Petracco added a goal.

Lenape 10, Shore 7

Senior attacker Lexi Buciorelli scored four goals and dished out two assists as the Indians (3-2) defeated the Blue Devils (2-4).

Junior midfielder Marielle Montenegro registered two goals and two assists in the loss. Junior midfielder Ava Matthews added two goals and an assist. Junior midfielder Braelyn Dalia finished with two goals. Junior attacker McKenna Frame also added a goal, while sophomore attacker Tessa Alcini recorded two assists.

Hamilton West 7, Long Branch 5

Junior midfielder Brittany Garcia-Mendoza scored a career-high four goals, but it was not enough as the Green Wave (4-1) dropped their first game of the season to the Hornets (2-4). Senior attacker Lauren Maxwell also scored a goal in the loss. Sophomore goalie Keira Emick recorded 10 saves.
