(1) Trinity Hall 14, (8) Point Boro 4
Junior midfielder Chiara Donohue poured in five goals, as the Monarchs (17-1) raced past the Panthers (13-3). Sophomore attacker Sarina DeRosa registered four goals and two assists. Sophomore midfielder Lyla Lu finished with two goals and two assists. Junior attacker Rosie Spiropoulos and junior midfielder O’Malley Eldridge each added a goal and two assists. Freshman Noelle Jordan chipped in with a goal. Senior defender Winnie Popham recorded an assist and forced a game-high five turnovers. Sophomore goalie Anna Pharo made six saves.
Senior attacker Lily Scalabarini and junior midfielder Lucy Hauser each scored two goals in the loss.
The Monarchs will host (5) Rumson-Fair Haven in the semifinals next Tuesday. Trinity Hall won the regular season matchup 8-6.
(3) Southern 13, (6) Middletown South 4
Sophomore midfielder Mackenzie Sininsky registered four goals and four assists, as the Rams (13-3) topped the Eagles (10-6). Junior attacker Kellyn Miller recorded a career-high five points on four goals and an assist. Senior attacker Callie Siek finished with two goals and three assists. Freshman midfielder Brynn Angelozzi added two goals and an assist. Sophomore attacker Jayden Georgesen also added a goal. Senior goalie Adyson Griffin made eight saves.
Sophomore defender Lexi Devaney scored a goal and dished out an assist in the loss. Senior attacker Anna Stumberger, senior midfielder Abigail Gallagher, and junior attacker Hayley Jamison each added a goal.
The Rams will travel to (2) Red Bank in the semifinals next Tuesday looking to avenge a regular season defeat.
(2) Red Bank 8, (7) Barnegat 5
Senior attacker Chloe Keating registered three goals and two assists, as the Bucs (11-5) defeated the Bengals (14-4). Sophomore Maddie Pierson scored three goals. Senior midfielder Kate Meulener and freshman Madelyn Doody each added a goal. Senior midfielder Karlie Ruland recorded two assists. Senior goalie Nora Tavares made six saves.
The Bucs will host (3) Southern in the semifinals next Tuesday. Red Bank won the regular season matchup 5-4.
(5) Rumson-Fair Haven 17, (4) Manasquan 4
Junior attacker Chloe Kelly racked up a career-high 10 points on six goals and four assists, as the Bulldogs (11-5) avenged an early season defeat by dismantling the Warriors (7-8). Junior attacker Reese Lydon registered four goals and two assists. Sophomore attacker Becca Newell finished with three goals and an assist. Senior midfielder Chase Memmott added two goals and two assists. Junior attacker Emma Kroll and junior midfielder Aly Megaw each tallied a goal and an assist. Junior goalie Sydney Kiernan made seven saves.
Sophomore midfielder Chloe Stevens scored three goals in the loss. Senior midfielder Ellie Sitar added a goal.
