Class A North
No. 4 Middletown North at No. 1 St. John Vianney – PPD
No. 6 Colts Neck 5, Freehold Township 2
Angela Sasso struck out 13 batters on the mound and hit a home run and drove in two runners to help Colts Neck improve to 2-1 on the season. Adrianna Bryce went 2-for-3 with a run scored for the Cougars.
Grace Grimaldi went 1-for-3 with a triple and RBI for Freehold Township.
No. 3 Red Bank Catholic 8, No. 7 Marlboro 2
RBC jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning to improve to 3-1 on the season. Nicole Knox went 3-for-4 and belted her second home run of the season and scored three runs. Brianna Santangelo also hit a home run and drove in three runs and Mackenna Savage went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for the Caseys. Lily Hagan struck out seven batters to earn the win.
Class B North
Monmouth 20, Freehold Boro 4
Monmouth scored four runs in both the 1st and 2nd innings and closed the game out with a 12-run 3rd inning to win their third game of the season. Erin Clancey went 4-for-4 with a home run, four runs scored and five RBIs to lead Monmouth. Olivia Davidson went 2-for-2 with four RBIs and Samantha Mahoney had two hits and two RBIs. Mahoney also earned the victory, striking out three batters.
Olivia Edmonds had a RBI triple and Katherine Martin drove in two runs for Freehold Boro.

B South
Manasquan 10, Toms River North 3
Manasquan jumped off to a 7-0 in the first inning to win their second game of the season. Danni Forrester went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBIs an Mia Law went 3-for-4 with two runs scored to lead the Warriors. Julia Carson struck out five batters in the victory and also drove in two runs at the plate.
Stephanie Barone went 3-for-4 with a run scored and stolen base and Makiyah Ross had a double and run scored for TRN.
Class C North
Ocean 22, Keansburg 0
Freshman Colleen Zdan struck out 10 batters to lead Ocean to their first victory of the season. Jillian Scott went 3-for-3 with a triple, double and four runs scored and Cassandra Foley went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs to lead the Spartans at the plate.
Shore 10, St. Rose 1
Morgan Shaftel went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs and Mary Hennelly added two hits and three RBIs to lead Shore Regional to a 4-0 start. Dylann Lawrence struck out four batters in the victory and had two hits at the plate.
Emily Torresdal struck out 11 batters for St. Rose and had two hits and a RBI.
Rumson-Fair Haven 14, Henry Hudson 4
Sophomore Mia Missig struck out 11 batters and only allowed two earned runs to help Rumson go to 3-1 on the season. Missig also went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double and three RBIs. Jessie Martinelle went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Devon Libro scored three times for Rumson.
Class C South
Manchester at Point Pleasant Beach- PPD
Brick Memorial 10, Barnegat 0
Sophomore Avery Nalducci was a force for Brick Memorial on the mound and at the plate today against division foe Barnegat. Nalducci pitched a shutout, only allowing two hits and striking out four batters and she broke a 0-0 tie in the bottom of the 3rd inning with a 3-run triple to help the Mustangs get back to .500. Maggie Leach went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and Carly Hobbs scored two run for Brick Memorial.
