Freshman Riley Tamashunas went 2 for 4 with a home run, 2 walks, and 4 RBIs to lead the Monarchs (8-5, 8-2) past the Piners (0-14, 0-10). Sophomore Emma Mullins was 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Sophomore Maggie Burns finished 1 for 2 with a double, a walk, and 2 runs.

Nondivisional

Barnegat 14, Jackson Liberty 1 (5 Innings)

Barnegat rolled to their 17th victory with five runs in the bottom of 1st and seven in the bottom of the 2nd on Senior Day. Brooke Rizzo went 2-for-2 with two doubles and four RBIs and Gianna Gomez went 3-for-3 with two RBIs to lead the way. Gomez also struck out 12 batters and did not allow an earned run in the game.

The Caseys (15-3) were explosive offensively as they cruised past the Firebirds (10-8). Senior Lily Hagan went 2 for 2 with a home run and 3 RBIs in addition to a walk. Senior Brianna Santangelo was 2 for 2 with a home run and 3 RBIs. Sophomore Grace Lombardi finished 2 for 3 with an RBI and a stolen base. Junior Jayden Kane was 2 for 2 with an RBI and a walk. Junior Torri Case finished 2 for 2 with 2 runs.
