Each week, Shore Sports Insider will highlight some of the top individual performances from around the Shore Conference and give readers the chance to decide who deserves to be named Football Player of the Week.

Week 1 Dick’s House of Sport Shore Conference Football Player of the Week 

Santino Martini | Sophomore | WR | Shore

Martini came up with one of the biggest plays of the game, hauling in a 62-yard touchdown reception to help lead the Blue Devils to a 21-13 victory over Point Beach.

The sophomore wide receiver delivered when Shore needed it, providing a game-changing score that helped propel the Blue Devils to the win.

Martini was awarded a $50.00 gift certificate to Dick’s House of Sport in Freehold Raceway Mall.
