Week 1 SSI Football Podcast to Feature Long Time Rivals presented by Meadow 28
The Shore Sports Insider Football Podcast returns for Week 1 with a pair of Shore Conference rivals joining the show ahead of their upcoming matchup.
Shore Sports Insider’s Dan Yeserski and Dave Smith will host the podcast virtually Monday night and will be joined by Point Boro head coach Brian Staub and quarterback Jake Clayton, along with Manasquan head coach Jay Price and running back/defensive back Dax Klein.
Point Boro enters Week 1 coming off a 24-10 victory over Sterling. Clayton played a major role in the season-opening win, accounting for three touchdowns with two rushing scores and one touchdown pass.

Manasquan opened its season with a dramatic 20-19 victory over Westwood. Klein made an impact in multiple ways, throwing a touchdown pass and catching the game-winning touchdown to help the Warriors start the season 1-0.

The podcast will look back at both teams’ Week 0 victories before turning the focus toward their Week 1 showdown.
Manasquan won last year’s meeting, 14-10, in a game that came down to the wire, snapping Point Boro’s three-game winning streak in the series. The Panthers had defeated the Warriors in each of the previous three seasons before Manasquan broke through in 2025.
Yeserski and Smith will discuss the rivalry and the upcoming matchup with Staub, Clayton, Price and Klein while also breaking down the latest from around Shore Conference football.
