Becca Newell, So., Rumson-Fair Haven

A reliable offensive weapon for the Shore Conference Tournament champions, Newell finished with 41 goals, 16 assists, and 57 points while also contributing 30 ground balls. The sophomore played an important role in RFH’s balanced attack and came through on the biggest stage, recording two goals and three assists in a Shore Conference Tournament championship victory over Red Bank.
Ashley Penn, So., Middletown South

A key part of Middletown South’s offense, Penn totaled 52 goals, 21 assists and 73 points during a standout sophomore campaign. She delivered several explosive performances throughout the season, including six goals and an assist in a victory over Manalapan and a career-best 11-point outing with five goals and six assists in a win over Point Boro.
Lily Scalabrini, Sr., Point Boro

A consistent offensive threat for a Point Boro team that finished 15-5, Scalabrini recorded 49 goals, 15 assists, and 64 points during her senior season. The Rowan commit showcased her scoring ability with a season-high seven goals in a victory over Lacey.
Anna Stumberger, Sr., Middletown South

A veteran presence for Middletown South, Stumberger totaled 33 goals, 16 assists, and 49 points while finishing her career just shy of the 200-point mark. The St. Leo University commit delivered one of her top performances in the postseason, recording four goals and two assists in a state tournament victory over Millburn.
Midfield
Reese Achille, Sr., Brick

The top all-around player for a Brick team that captured the Freedom Division title, Achille filled the stat sheet with 73 goals, 34 assists, and 107 points while also contributing 56 ground balls, 43 draw controls and 10 forced turnovers. The Hofstra commit was one of the Shore’s most dynamic midfielders and turned in her top offensive performance with six goals and three assists for nine points in a victory over Donovan Catholic.
Madison Alcantara, Sr., Manalapan

A standout playmaker for the Braves, Alcantara stuffed the stat sheet with 64 goals, 23 assists, and 87 points while also adding 41 ground balls and 55 draw controls. The Virginia Commonwealth commit turned in one of the Shore’s top individual performances of the season in a 14-13 victory over Shore, erupting for seven goals and two assists.
Ryann Buchan, So., Holmdel

The driving force behind Holmdel’s Constitution Division championship season, Buchan put together a stellar sophomore campaign with 66 goals, 41 assists and 107 points while also collecting 64 ground balls, 126 draw controls and 31 forced turnovers. She delivered multiple signature performances, erupting for six goals and five assists in a win over Wall and scoring six goals, including the overtime game-winner, in an 8-7 state tournament victory over West Essex.
Sarina DeRosa, So., Trinity Hall

A rising star for American Division champion Trinity Hall, DeRosa emerged as one of the Shore’s top sophomores with 43 goals, 39 assists and 82 points while also contributing 40 ground balls, 27 draw controls and 32 forced turnovers. She announced herself early in the season with a dominant eight-point performance against Hill (Pa.), totaling four goals and four assists.
Addison Frulio, So., Central

One of the Shore’s most explosive offensive players, Frulio piled up 84 goals, 19 assists and 103 points while also contributing 79 ground balls, 103 draw controls and 30 forced turnovers. The sophomore starred in all facets of the game for Central and delivered one of her top performances of the season with nine goals and two assists in an early-season victory over Red Bank Catholic.
Lyla Lu, So., Trinity Hall

Potentially the fastest player in the Shore Conference, Lu was a dynamic two-way presence for a Trinity Hall team that captured the American Division title. The sophomore finished with 32 goals, 30 assists, and 62 points while also recording 51 ground balls, 51 draw controls, and 35 forced turnovers. Lu showcased her playmaking ability in the biggest moments, totaling three goals and an assist in a hard-fought Shore Conference Tournament semifinal loss against Rumson-Fair Haven.
Francesca Skowronski, Sr., Point Boro

A fierce defensive-minded midfielder and draw specialist for Point Boro, Skowronski excelled at creating extra possessions and disrupting the opposition. The Wagner commit finished with 27 goals, 16 assists, and 43 points while also totaling 40 ground balls, 99 draw controls, and 22 forced turnovers. She contributed offensively as well, recording five goals and an assist in victories over Toms River South and Red Bank Catholic.
Aryelle Stein, Jr., Manalapan

A dynamic scorer for the Braves, Stein piled up 104 goals, 17 assists, and 121 points while also contributing 67 ground balls, 121 draw controls, and 22 forced turnovers. The American University commit was one of the Shore’s most dangerous offensive threats and showcased her lethal scoring ability with two 11-goal performances in victories over St. John Vianney and Lacey.
Chloe Stevens, So., Manasquan

A pure scorer who also excelled on draw controls, Stevens was a key contributor for a Manasquan team that captured the South Jersey Group 2 title. The sophomore totaled 61 goals, nine assists, and 70 points while also collecting 109 draw controls, 31 ground balls, and 13 forced turnovers. Stevens elevated her play during the postseason, scoring 10 goals in the Warriors’ three sectional tournament victories.
DEFENSE
Georgie Avrillon, Jr., Trinity Hall

A disciplined defender for American Division champion Trinity Hall, Avrillon was a steady presence on the back line for the Monarchs. She finished with 29 ground balls and 24 forced turnovers while consistently helping limit opposing scoring threats. Avrillon also scored a goal in a victory over Red Bank Catholic.
Maddy DeSena, Sr., Rumson-Fair Haven

A senior leader and vocal presence for the Shore Conference Tournament champions, DeSena helped anchor the Bulldogs’ defense with her communication and steady play. The Wesleyan commit finished with 20 ground balls and 17 forced turnovers while also contributing four goals and an assist. DeSena produced one of Rumson-Fair Haven’s biggest plays of the season in the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals, going coast-to-coast for a crucial goal in a 9-8 victory over Trinity Hall.
Kathleen Deverin, Sr., Red Bank

Despite spending much of the season in the midfield because of team needs, Deverin remained one of the Shore’s premier defenders while thriving in an expanded offensive role. The College of New Jersey commit totaled 27 goals, 24 assists, and 51 points while also recording 43 ground balls, 106 draw controls, and six forced turnovers. Her offensive skill set was on full display in the Shore Conference Tournament final, where she scored a hat trick against Rumson-Fair Haven.
Maddy Plank, Jr., Trinity Hall

A key member of a Trinity Hall defense that helped the Monarchs capture the American Division title, Plank was a disruptive presence throughout the season. She finished with 36 ground balls and 34 forced turnovers while helping lead Trinity Hall to the state semifinals. Plank saved some of her best play for the postseason, forcing nine turnovers during the Monarchs’ state tournament run.
Goalie
Sydney Kiernan, Jr., Rumson-Fair Haven

The Michigan commit was a steady presence in goal for the Shore Conference Tournament champions, finishing with 154 saves, 143 goals allowed, and a 51.9 save percentage. Kiernan also impacted the game outside the crease with 20 ground balls and 16 forced turnovers, showcasing her aggressive style of play. She delivered one of her top performances in the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals, making nine saves in a 9-8 victory over Trinity Hall.
Allie Soden, Sr., Barnegat
The backbone of a Barnegat team that captured the Colonial Division title, Soden turned in an outstanding senior season with 208 saves, 127 goals allowed, and a 62.1 save percentage. She repeatedly kept the Bengals competitive against some of the Shore’s top teams, including a season-high 17-save performance against Trinity Hall. Soden also came up big in the postseason, making 13 saves in a hard-fought sectional semifinal loss against Allentown.
