Freehold Township 13, Howell, 10
Junior Gianna Neron scored a career-high 6 goals to lift Freehold Township (6-1, 4-0) past district rival Howell (3-3, 2-2). Senior Chloe Walters and Alyssa Costagliola each sank 3 goals. Freshman Brook Jenkins also scored a goal while junior Maddie Reiser tallied an assist. Junior goalie Araiana Hopper turned back 7 shots in the win for the Patriots.
Senior Sophia Schwark scored 3 goals in the loss for the Rebels. Juniors Kendall Bleakley and Ava Brandt each added 2 goals. Sophomore Makenzie Memmolo finished with 1 goal.
Brick Memorial 14, Middletown North 2
Junior Charlotte Kampf sank 4 goals and distributed 1 assist to help Brick Memorial (4-3, 2-2) cruise past Middletown North (2-9, 0-4). A trio of Mustangs came away with hat tricks including sophomore Lyla Blood, senior Paige Fraser, and junior Ella Kennedy. Junior goalie Caylyn Rivera stopped 5 shots in the win.

Manchester 7, Jackson Liberty 3
A strong defensive performance and 3 goals from senior Riley McGuire helped Manchester (6-2, 6-0) stave off Jackson Liberty (0-6, 0-4) to remain undefeated in divisional play. Junior Isabella Erli added 2 goals and 1 assist. Senior Nahiaranette scored 1 goal and sophomore Shae O’Neill scored her first career goal. Junior Alexa Wnek distributed a team-high 2 assists while sophomores Ava Kennedy and Zoey Rodriguez also tallied an assist. Sophomore goalie Elizabeth Grausso turned away 3 shots in the win for the Hawks. While not yet set in stone, a potential division championship match-up with New Egypt could be on the horizon in 2 weeks.
New Egypt 10, Monmouth 5
Junior Madison Adam matched her career-high for goals in a game with 9 and added an assist to guide New Egypt (5-0, 5-0) past Monmouth (4-4, 2-2). Adam’s second goal of the day gave her 200 for her career and she now sits at 207. Junior Aimee Kovacs added the other goal and freshman goalie Corinne Ring recorded 2 saves in the win for the Warriors. It is becoming increasingly likely that the May 1st match-up between New Egypt and Manchester will be for the Independence Division title as both teams remain undefeated within divisional play.
Pinelands 7, Neptune 1
A 7 save performance from junior Madison Lowry coupled with strong defense helped Pinelands (2-2, 1-2) turn away Neptune (2-6, 1-3). Seniors Olivia Shertenlieb and AnnaMarie Manger each scored 2 goals in the win for the Wildcats. Senior Kaitlyn Siino and junior Ava Blase each added 1 goal and 1 assist. Senior Norah Maleski also scored 1 goal.
Sophomore Stella Curto scored the lone goal for Neptune while goalie Elizabeth Wisner stopped 5 shots in the loss.
Nondivisional
No. 5 Middletown South at Toms River North, 12:30 p.m.
Barnegat 14, Lacey 7
Ella Tortorici, Emilia Ercolino, and Molly Carrol scored 3 goals a piece, and Coach Lyndsey Torre earned her 100th victory, as Barnegat defeated Lacey 14-7 in a non-divisional matchup. Lizzie Medina and Sadie Guiro added 2 goals each for Barnegat (5-2)
Lacey’s leading scorer Zoey Smith had 3 first period goals for Lacey (2-3) but Barnegat’s defense completely shut her down for the final three periods. Giana Camporeale scored 2 goals for Lacey, and freshman Emily Slota scored 2 goals and won 16 draw controls for the Lions.
No. 6 Southern 17, No. 8 Central 6
No. 3 Shore 16, Holmdel 2
Senior Kendall Bennett led a balanced scoring effort with 3 goals and 1 assists as Shore (7-1) rolled past Holmdel (3-5). Senior Teagan Harmon scored 2 goals and tallied 2 assists while senior Gabby O’Brien added 2 goals and 1 assist and senior Jasmin Okuszka added 2 goals. Senior Cami Grella along with sophomores Claudia Bufano and Marielle Montenegro added 1 goal and 1 assist. Four other Blue Devils scored a goal including sophomore Braelyn Dalia, senior Sadie Tactikos, sophomore Vic Nappo, and sophomore Ava Matthews. Senior goalie Sofia Merten recorded 4 saves in the win.
Nonconference
Monroe 12, Manalapan 11
Long Branch 8, Hamilton West 7
Junior Lauren Maxwell notched her first career hat trick to lead Long Branch (2-5) past Hamilton West (3-5). Five other Green Wave scored 1 goal in the win including sophomore Brittany Garcia-Mendoza, junior Luiza De Oliveira, senior Romina Revelo, junior Ashley Martinez-Garcia, and senior Sherline Reyes-Lopez. Senior Roselin Reyes-Lopez and sophomore Kamani Cooper each tallied an assist. Senior goalie Katherine Perez-Mora had a strong day in the net with a season-high 12 saves.
No. 1 Rumson-Fair Haven 12, Haddonfield 9
A career-high 5 goal scoring performance from senior Mia Milkowski guided Rumson-Fair Haven (4-3) past South Jersey power Haddonfield (5-2). Senior Daisen Iwan and sophomore Chloe Kelly each added 2 goals. Seniors Rachel James and Sophie Yockel as well as sophomore Aly Megaw each scored 1 goal. The Rumson defense did a stellar job of limiting Princeton commit Grace Farrell who has 236 career points to just 1 goal.
