No. 7 Toms River East 8, No. 9 Holmdel 6

Junior Nicholas Caruso scored 5 goals and tallied 2 assists as the Raiders (12-4) held on to defeat the Hornets (7-9). The Raiders trailed 2-1 at the end of 1 before out-scoring the Hornets 3-0 in the 2nd period. Both teams scored 2 goals a piece in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Senior midfielder Nate Cummings netted a hat trick. Sophomore attacker Gerard Uzzolino distributed 3 assists while senior midfielder Tyler Godlesky tallied 1 assist in the win.

Sophomore Joey Marino scored 2 goals in the loss for the Hornets. Junior attacker Finnegan Buchan and sophomore attacker David Perrotti both scored a goal and tallied an assist. Junior defender Marcus Cermele and senior FOGO Jack Powers both added a goal.

Brick Memorial 13, Donovan Catholic 2

Junior midfielder Justin Karlbon netted his first career hat trick along with an assist as the Mustangs (12-6) routed the Griffins (3-11). Senior attacker Austin Edwards and juniors Jack Deufemia and Shane Trautweiler each scored 2 goals. Junior Nick Correia scored a goal and distributed a game-high 4 assists. Senior attacker Matt Malanga added a goal and 3 assists. Junior midfielder Evan Rojas added a goal and an assist while freshman Colin Fanning added a goal.

Red Bank 10, Middletown North 4

Junior attacker Gabe Pape sank 4 shots and distributed 2 assists, and freshman MJ Keating scored 4 goals as the Bucs (8-8) defeated the Lions (8-9). Sophomore Justin Valentino added 2 goals and 2 assists. Senior midfielder Will Ogden and junior Nathan Pelensky both tallied an assist. Junior goalie Owen Montgomery denied 11 shots in the win for the Bucs.

Senior midfielder Michael Hoarle netted 6 goals and tallied 3 assists as the Crimson Knights (8-10) topped the Falcons (6-8). Senior attacker Jackson Lemongelli scored 5 goals and tallied 2 assists. Sophomore attacker Parker Quinn added a goal and 3 assists. Senior attacker Owen Moore and junior midfielder Patrick Freud both added a goal and 2 assists. Senior goalie Braeden Buckley saved 7 shots in the victory.

Colts Neck 12, Old Bridge 5

Senior Jayden Molina erupted for a career-high 7 goals and tallied an assist as the Cougars (9-9) topped the Knights (5-13). Senior Tyler Bowden scored 2 goals and tallied 3 assists. Freshman Gavin Manasso scored a goal and distributed a game-high 4 assists. Senior Leo Salkinder and freshman Noah Milewski both scored a goal. Junior Christian Casatelli distributed 2 assists while sophomore James Scully tallied 1 assist.

Allentown 11, Red Bank Catholic 4

The Caseys (4-15) could not keep up with the Redbirds (10-4) of the Colonial Valley Conference. Four players scored in the loss including sophomores Jake Bickerton and Joe Egan as well as freshmen Ben Mackay and Ashton Torregrossa. Mackay’s goal was the first of his career. Bickerton and senior attacker Leo Cosimano both had an assist. Freshman goalie Wyatt Curley saved 11 shots.
