Coaches Cup Championship

The Patriots (16-2) defeated the Indians (11-6) in a thriller to win the Coaches Cup Championship behind four different player’s hat tricks. Senior Alyssa Costagliola netted 3 goals and tallied an assist while juniors May Luxenberg and Reese Metcalfe as well as freshman Addison Freyre each recorded a hat trick. Senior Chloe Walters and junior Gianna Neron both scored 2 goals and distributed an assist. Junior goalie Melinda Gordon registered 6 saves in the victory.

No. 9 Central 15, Ocean 10

Junior Brianna Nelson matched her career-high with 4 goals as the Golden Eagles (12-6) toppled the Spartans (7-11). Senior RyAnn Dunn and freshman Addison Frulio both scored 3 goals and tallied 1 assist. Senior Samantha DeMarco netted her fourth hat trick of the season. Senior Jenna Robinson and sophomore Logan Lisewski both added a goal and an assist in the victory for the Golden Eagles.

Junior Maddie Kirchner poured in 5 goals and assisted on 3 more in the loss for the Spartans. Junior Julia Wagner netted 3 goals. Junior Brooke Todd registered a goal and an assist. Sophomore Bryn Park chipped in with a goal.

The Cougars (4-11) fell to the Rams (14-4) out of the Colonial Valley Conference. Seniors Olivia Barwicki and Brynn Mahoney both scored 2 goals in the loss. Sophomore Jamie Lombardo also added a goal.
