Senior attacker/midfielder Lauren Maxwell had three goals for the Green Wave (1-0, 1-0)) as they picked up a division win over the rival Scarlet Fliers (0-1, 0-1). Junior defender/midfielder Valentina Perez-Mora added two goals and a helper. Sophomore goalie Keira Emick stopped 4/5 shots in her first career start in the winning effort.
Non-Division
Colts Neck 10, Toms River South 7
Senior attacker/midfielder Jordyn Hansel continued her strong start to the season scoring four times and assisting on another goal as the Cougars (2-0) finished the week perfect by besting the Mariners (0-2). Senior attacker/midfielder Julia Tormey added a hat trick in the winning effort. Junior Goalie Martina Marchiano had 12 saves in net in the winning effort she now has stopped 29 of 39 shots faced. This is the Cougars first 2-0 start since 2023 when they started 4-0.
Lacey 9, Marlboro 6
Sophomore Emily Slota picked up where she left off from last season as she had four goals and three assist as the Lions (1-0) bested the Mustangs (0-1). Senior Amelia Mazur added two goals and two assists as well in the winning effort. Sophomore goalie Molly Barneman stopped 8 out of 14 shots faced in net to help turn the tide for the Lions. Junior midfielder and 3 sport athlete Elizabeth Stellato posted 3 goals in the loss for the Mustangs.
Central 18, Jackson 4
Sophomore Addison Fruilo picked up where she left off after scoring 61 goals last year by putting six on the board as the Golden Eagles (1-0) took down the Jaguars (0-1). Junior Logan Lisewski had a monster goal scoring day as she put five goals in the back of the net. Senior Brianna Nelson started off her final campaign with an all around performance as she had three goals and three assists.
Wall 17, Brick Memorial 5
Senior midfielder Hannah Leete erupted for a career-high eight goals to lead the Crimson Knights (2-1) past the Mustangs (0-1). Senior attacker Ella Schaible netted three goals and recorded an assist. Junior attacker Isabella Breen, junior midfielder Molly Thorn, and freshman midfielder Madelyn Soos each scored two goals.
Junior midfielder Lyla Blood scored three goals in the loss. Senior attacker Charlotte Kampf added two goals.
New Egypt 12, St. Rose 5
Holmdel 11, SJV 4
Sophomore Ryann Buchan netted a career-high six goals and recorded two assists as the Hornets (1-0) prevailed over the crosstown rival Lancers (0-1). Senior attacker Avery Dubin and junior midfielder Sunny Betz each added two goals. Sophomore Anika Gravier finished with a goal and an assist. Freshman goalie Josephine Betz recorded nine saves.
Junior Adrianna Petriello scored two goals in the loss. Junior Maia Treacy-Noble and sophomore Grace Rispoli each added a goal. Junior goalie Cherish Penning recorded 12 saves.
