Senior pitcher Madison McDougall struck out seven batters and allowed three hits and one hit batter as the Lancers (2-0, 2-0) routed the Lions (1-3, 0-3). Freshman Peyton McDougall went 3-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI’s. Junior Brynn Utter hit a two-run home run. Sophomore Lexie Csontos was 2-for-3 with two RBI’s. Sophomore Olivia Lombardi finished 2-for-3 with an RBI.
No. 3 Middletown South 3, No. 6 Marlboro 0
Junior pitcher Riley Smith struck out 10 batters and allowed just two hits, a walk, and one hit batter as the Eagles (4-1, 2-1) blanked the Mustangs (1-1, 0-1). Junior Ciara Sparandero went 2-for-4 with a double. Junior Celia Collings was 1-for-3 with a triple.

Senior Olivia DeFonce went 4-for-4 with a double and three RBI’s as the Blue Devils (3-2, 1-2) topped the Falcons (1-2, 0-2). Senior Dylann Lawrence was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI while also striking out nine batters on the mound. Junior Peyton Waterman finished 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI’s.
Senior Jordan Diefes went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI’s in the loss.
Ocean 14, Manasquan 13
Junior Sadie Miller doubled and had four RBI’s as the Spartans (2-0, 2-0) edged the Warriors (0-3, 0-2). Junior Ryliegh Cerco went 5-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI’s. Sophomore Colleen Zdan was 4-for-4 with a double and two RBI’s.
Freshman Alyssa Martucci hit a three-run home run in the loss. Senior Delia Gilmore went 3-for-5 with a double and four RBI’s. Freshman Devyn Weber was 3-for-5 with four RBI’s.
Freehold Boro 12, No. 10 St. Rose 1 (6 innings)
Freshman pitcher Vanessa Karabin struck out six batters and allowed just four hits as the Colonials (3-0, 3-0) knocked off the Purple Roses (3-2, 1-2). Karabin was 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBI’s. Junior RF Katherine Martin was 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, and two RBI’s. Junior SS Ashley Koppelman finished 1-for-2 with a double and two walks.

Senior Jaelynn Witte went 2-for-4 with a double as the Golden Eagles (3-1, 1-1) defeated the Rams (1-4, 1-1). Senior Madison Ryan was 2-for-2 with an RBI. Senior Sianna Valverde finished 1-for-3 with a triple, a walk, and an RBI.
Junior Madilyn Duralek went 3-for-4 with a double in the loss.

Junior Kaylee Cavallo went 1-for-3 with two walks and three RBI’s as the the Jaguars (1-3, 1-2) defeated the Panthers (1-2, 1-2). Sophomore Mia Ingenito finished 2-for-3 with two walks, an RBI, and four runs. Sophomore Tara Steppat was 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI.
No. 2 Donovan Catholic 11, Pinelands 0 (5 innings)
Senior Isabella Maria went 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, and three RBI’s as the Griffins (3-0, 3-0) topped the Wildcats (1-2, 1-2). Freshman Riley Laing was 1-for-2 with two RBI’s. Senior Amelia Wescott finished 1-for-1 with a home run and a walk. Senior Jaelynn Nunez batted 3-for-3 with an RBI. Junior Isabella Cino was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Junior pitcher Gylian Hixenbaugh struck out three batters and allowed one hit in three innings to earn the win. Freshman Kourtney Murphy struck out four batters and allowed two hits in two innings in relief.

Freshman pitcher Brianna Delima went 1-for-3 with three RBI’s and a walk and struck out seven batters in four innings as the Raiders (2-1, 2-1) routed the Mustangs (0-4, 0-3). Sophomore Alexa DeMarco was 4-for-4 with two RBI’s. Junior Kylie Paladino batted 3-for-4 with two RBI’s. Senior Addison Gallagher finished 2-for-4 with two RBI’s. Junior Emma Eisman was 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBI’s.
Freshman Gabrielle Vida went 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBI’s in the loss.
No. 7 Barnegat 16, Toms River South 2
Junior pitcher Gianna Gomez struck out 14 batters in a complete game no-hitter, as the Bengals (4-0, 3-0) routed the Indians (1-2, 1-2). Gomez walked six batters but allowed no earned runs. Senior Jadeyn Bodziak went 2-for-4 with a grand slam. Junior Gianna Skwirut was 1-for-3 with a grand slam. Senior Riley Schmidt finished 1-for-3 with two walks and recorded her 100th career hit. Freshman Mikaila Wickham batted 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, and three RBI’s.

Toms River North 21, Red Bank 0 (4 innings)
Freshman pitcher Julianna Garofalo struck out eight batters and allowed one hit and one walk in three innings on the mound as the Mariners (2-0, 2-0) raced past the Bucs (1-4, 0-3). Senior Camryn Lynch went 3-for-3 with a walk. Senior Dalylia Lyon was 3-for-5. Junior Gabriella Minser-Schletto finished 3-for-4.
