Junior pitcher Brooke Sutter recorded six strikeouts and allowed only four hits and two walks, as the Rams (8-6) blanked the rival Bengals (14-1), handing them their first loss of the season. Senior Emily Zellman and junior Abigail Krill each went 1-for-3 with a double and a run. Senior Kendra Perrini batted 2-for-3. Sophomore Kaelyn Delaney scored two runs.
Junior pitcher Gianna Gomez struck out six batters and allowed five hits and a walk in the loss. Sophomore Brooke Rizzo went 2-for-3 with a double.

Middletown North 2, St. Mary (Ruth.) 1 (8 innings)
Freshman 2B Samantha Cuppler hit a walk-off single to left field that scored senior 3B Brianna Soto who previously doubled to right field to start the inning, to lift the Lions (6-11) over the Gaels (11-5). The Lions scored their first run in the bottom of the 4th inning after Cuppler reached first base on an error. Sophomore catcher Ellie Gottschalk crushed a double to left field to score Cuppler. Junior pitcher Grace English started the game and recorded two strikeouts and allowed no runs in three innings. Sophomore 2B Aubrey Borchers relieved English in the 4th inning and struck out eight batters and allowed just one hit and four walks the rest of the way, earning the win.

Matawan 4, Toms River North 3
After giving up two runs in the top of the 7th inning to allow Toms River North (8-6), senior Jenna Pagan hit a walk-off sacrifice fly to left field to score Bella Sierra, who led the inning off with a double and advanced to third base on a passed ball to give Matawan (8-5) the non-conference win. Junior Elyssa Jamandron had two hits and two runs scored for the Huskies. Senior Emma Kriegstein struck out 11 batters to earn the win.
Freshman Lilly Bossow went 4-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored an Dalylia Lyon went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI’s for TRN.

Junior SS Grace Lombardi and junior 1B Gabby Milevoi each recorded a single in the loss for the Caseys.
