Shore Conference Girls Soccer Week 3 Rankings
1. Toms River South (3-0) Last Week: 1

Toms River South only played one game last week and won in a dominant fashion. The Indians beat division opponent Lacey 7-0. Junior Emma Turnbach scored a hat trick to bring her goal total to four for the season. Reese Lindemann earned her second shutout of the season.
One of Toms River South’s toughest games comes Tuesday against division rival No. 3 Central at home. A win for the Indians will put them in the driver’s seat for Class A South. These two teams battled to a 1-1 tie last season on the same date, 9/15. TRS ends the week at home against crosstown rival Toms River North on Thursday in a SCT Group 1 game. This will be both teams’ first pod game of the season.
2. Red Bank Catholic (3-0) Last Week: 2

After beating Howell in their opening game, the Caseys improved to 2-0 in Class A North with a 4-0 win over Manalapan. Sophomore Molly Denver scored two goals, and Mia Cupo had two assists in the win. Denver continued her scoring ways with two goals against Donovan Catholic in RBC’s first SCT Pod game to earn three points. Senior Heidi Wierman, who was the hero against Howell, made five saves against Manalapan to earn her first shutout of the season.
RBC will host No. 6 Trinity Hall on Tuesday in a Class A North match-up. Trinity Hall defeated RBC 2-0 the last time they met in 2024. The Caseys host Point Beach on Thursday in a SCT Pod game and end the week on the road against Allentown in a non-conference game. Allentown fell to Central 3-2 on Saturday in a battle of top-20 teams in New Jersey.
3. Central (4-0) Last Week: 4

Central started the week with a 2-0 victory over Southern to improve to 2-0 in Class A South. Juniors Ava Bozinis and Cali Fecak both scored first-half goals for the Golden Eagles. Junior Gianna Lawrence made three saves to earn her second straight shutout.
Central followed that with a hard-fought come-from-behind victory over Allentown in a top-20 match-up. The Golden Eagles trailed two times in the game, going down 1-0 in the first half before tying it in the second-half, then going down 2-1. Central played the majority of the game in front of the Allentown goal and was able to capitalize on a penalty kick by Brianna Daly to tie the game. Freshman Annie Napolitano scored the game-winner with one minute left off a corner kick by Leah DiCillo.
Central travels to No. 1 Toms River South on Tuesday in what might be the match-up of the season. Last year these two teams battled to a 1-1 draw. Central will play their first SCT Pod game at home on Thursday against Manchester.
4.Rumson-Fair Haven (2-0) Last Week: 6

Despite playing only one game last week, Rumson moved up two spots after teams ahead of them lost. The Bulldogs scored three first-half goals to beat Red Bank 4-2. Duke commit Jordyn Sullivan scored two in the second straight game to bring her total to four for the season. Junior Lily Halpern also has had an assist in the first two games for Rumson.
The Bulldogs have a challenging week ahead, playing three games against three teams just outside the top ten. Rumson travels to Middletown South on Tuesday in a Class A North game and follows that with a trip to Middletown North on Thursday. The game against Middletown North will be the Bulldogs’ first SCT Pod game of the season. The Lions beat Jackson last week to earn three points in Group 6. Rumson will end the week hosting undefeated St. John Vianney on Friday.
5. Point Boro (2-1) Last Week: 7

After losing a hard-fought game against division rival Central, the Panthers beat division opponent Toms River East in a back-and-forth 3-2 victory. Point Boro followed that with an 8-1 victory against Brick Township to earn three points in SCT Pod 8. Junior Maddie Renna scored a hat trick against the Raiders, with Grace Tansey assisting on two of the goals. Renna added two more goals against Brick.
Point Boro will host Lacey on Tuesday in a Class A South game. The Panthers end the week against Marlboro on Thursday at home in their second pod game. Marlboro and Point Boro are both 1-0 with wins over Brick in Pod 8.
6. Trinity Hall (3-1) Last Week: 8

After falling to rival Rumson in heartbreaking fashion, Trinity Hall has won three straight, including a 2-0 win over No. 3 Howell in a Class A North battle. The Monarchs got two second-half goals from Kailyn Fitzgerald and Anna Noble. Senior O’Neal Hile and freshman Ella Dollar combined for seven saves to earn the shutout. Trinity Hall followed that with a 2-0 non-divisional win against St. Rose. Sophomore Bette Kane scored her third goal of the season, and freshman Emma Sottosanti scored her first career goal.
Trinity Hall travels to No. 2 RBC on Tuesday for a Class A North match-up. The Monarchs beat RBC 2-0 in their last meeting in 2024. Trinity Hall travels to Toms River North in an SCT Pod game. This will be the first pod game for both teams this season.
7.Wall (4-1) Last Week: 9
After losing their season opener against No. 4 Central, Wall has won four straight games. Last week the Knights beat division rival Marlboro 1-0 in overtime. Sophomore Nora Farrell scored off an assist from sister Megan Farrell three minutes into overtime. Junior Angelica Arcila-Montoya made 12 saves to earn her second straight shutout. Wall followed that with a 4-2 win over Point Beach to earn three points in SCT Group 7. Wall scored three first-half goals and was led by freshman Brianna Gately, who scored her first two goals of her career.
Wall will host Manalapan in a non-divisional game on Tuesday. Manalapan defeated Wall 4-2 last season. On Thursday, the Knights host No. 10 Freehold Township in a non-divisional game. Wall defeated the Patriots 3-1 last season.
8. Manasquan (3-1) Last Week: 10

Manasquan responded to a heartbreaking double-overtime loss against Wall with two wins last week. The Warriors started the week with a 3-1 division victory over Shore. Juniors Brooke Mack and Cassidy Eastmond both scored second-half goals to open the game up for the Warriors. Manasquan ended the week with a 1-0 win over Southern in an SCT Pod game. Sophomore Lexie Liebler scored off a rebound in the 42nd minute to lead Manasquan to victory. Junior Madeline Petrulla made six saves to earn her first shutout of the season.
Manasquan hosts St. John Vianney on Tuesday in an important Class A Central game. SJV is undefeated with a record of 4-0. Manasquan defeated the Lancers 1-0 last season. On Thursday, the Warriors travel to Middletown South to play their second SCT Pod game. Both teams are 1-0 in SCT Group 4. The Warriors end the week playing Red Bank Regional.
9. Howell (1-2) Last Week: 3

After losing a heartbreaker to No. 3 RBC in the opening week, Howell lost to their second-ranked opponent, Trinity Hall, to start last week 2-0. Howell conceded two second-half goals in the defeat. The Rebels rebounded to pick up three points in SCT Group 5 with a 6-0 win over Lacey. Senior Makenzie Memmolo scored four goals, giving her five on the season.
Howell travels to No. 10 Freehold Township in a Class A North rivalry game. Howell beat the Patriots during the regular season, but lost to them in the Central Jersey Group 4 semifinal round. The Rebels end the week at home on Saturday against Toms River East in a non-divisional game.
10. Freehold Township (1-2) Last Week: Unranked

After losing their first two games of the season, Freehold Township rebounded with a 2-1 win against division rival No. 5 Middletown South. Sophomore Morgan Notaro scored her first goal of the season against the Eagles and assisted on the Patriots’ other goal. Violet Matthews and Saoirse Downey split time in goal in the game.
The Patriots’ difficult schedule continues this week with three games. Freehold Township hosts No. 9 Howell on Tuesday and travels to No. 7 Wall on Thursday. The Patriots lost to Howell 5-1 during the regular season last season, but defeated the Rebels in the Central Jersey Group 4 semifinal round 2-1. Wins against Howell and Wall will send the Patriots right back up the rankings. They end the week with a non-conference game against Steinert on Saturday.
