No. 1 St. Rose 61, No. 2 Manasquan 48
Sophomore Avery Lynch scored 17 points and junior Jayden Hodge contributed 16 to go with five rebounds and five steals as the Purple Roses (10-4, 6-0) fought their way past the Warriors (11-2, 4-2), snapping Manasquan’s winning streak at 10 while extending their winning streak vs. the Shore Conference to 23.
Lynch and Hodge were part of a second-quarter close in which St. Rose hit three-pointers on three consecutive offensive possession to end the half, with Lynch hitting the first of the three and Hodge capping it to give his team a 32-24 lead at the half.
Hodge also spent the game guarding Manasquan sophomore guard and leading scorer Rey Weinseimer, holding him to 14 points on 5-for-13 shooting from the field.
As a team, St. Rose held Manasquan to 1-for-13 shooting from three-point range, including 1-for-12 in the second half. Senior Brandon Kunz hit a corner three-pointer with 57 seconds left to break the Warriors’ three-point drought.
Junior Tyler Cameron added seven points and freshman Izayah Cooper pitched in six points and six assists for St. Rose.
Senior Griffin Linstra led Manasquan with 17 points, six rebounds and three assists, Weinseimer grabbed six rebounds to go with his 14 points and sophomore Logan Cleveland threw in eight points and five rebounds in the loss.
Class B North
Long Branch 39, Monmouth 32
Cameron DeJesus scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Green Wave (3-10, 2-3) to a road win over the Falcons (2-10, 2-3). Josh Da Cruz also chipped in 10 points and Joshua Guzman threw in nine for Long Branch.

Barnegat 58, Point Boro 53
Senior Mason Krey scored a game-high 21 points and the Bengals (8-5) stormed back from an eight-point halftime deficit to upend the Panthers (10-4).
Senior Cole Toddings poured in 16 points and senior Kyle Greenleaf added eight for Barnegat, which outscored Point Boro, 38-24, in the second half to turn its fortune. Sophomore Hunter Hynes scored 14 points and junior Jovin Steinmetz netted 13 to lead Point Boro.
Non-Conference
Pinelands 54, Academy Charter 38
Senior Ty Kline accounted for half his team’s scoring with 27 points and also put up nine rebounds and five assists the carry the Wildcats (9-4) to a win over the Panthers (6-6).
Senior Tyler McNally-Ferguson chipped in 15 points and five assists for Pinelands.
