Matawan outscored Jackson Liberty 30-4 in the first half to win their second game of the season. Matawan had 11 different players score a basket with six players scoring four or more points. Freshman Ava Huey scored a game-high 8 points for Matawan.
Ocean 35, Sayreville 33
Ocean built a 10-2 lead in the 1st quarter and hung on to win their first game of the season. Freshman Emma Burke scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Spartans.
Long Branch 44, Monmouth Regional 35
Long Branch pulled away from Monmouth Regional in the 4th quarter behind a game-high 25 point performance from Senior Leomary Diaz-Merino. Sophomore Nevaeh Wheeler chipped in with 8 points in the victory. For Monmouth Regional, Senior Amaya Harris recorded a team-high 24 points and 13 rebounds in the loss.
Freehold Boro 53, Raritan 33
Freehold Boro raced to a 35-20 halftime lead and held strong to defeat Raritan. Senior Christina Sikaras narrowly missed a triple-double finishing with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists while Senior Sayuri Penaranda recorded a 16 point and 15 rebounds in the victory for the Colonials. Junior Megan Cordeiro scored 12 points in the loss for the Rockets.

Neptune raced past Manalapan behind a game-high 23 point scoring performance from Senior Christa Ramos. Senior Bre Evans added 15 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 6 steals and Junior Majiah Quarles added 13 points for the Fliers in the victory. Manalapan Sophomore Brianna Libretti scored 14 points in the loss.

Toms River South held off Lacey despite facing a 45-25 team rebounding. Sophomore Linsey Cribbin scored a team-high 14 points while Senior Madeline Krohn added 11 points. Lacey Senior Reece Paget recorded a 19 point and 11 rebound double-double in the loss.
Middletown South 51, Middletown North 34
Middletown South came out strong out of the gate with a 19-6 1st quarter lead in their win over rival Middletown North. Senior Caitlin Whyte scored a team-high 14 points for the Eagles while senior Amanda MacGregor added 11 points in the win. Sophomore Kaelyn Gibson scored 22 points in the loss for the Lions.

Point Beach 41, Brick Memorial 31
Point Beach put forth a strong defensive effort to defeat Brick Memorial. Senior Erin Frauenheim led the way for the Garnet Gulls with a 20 point and 11 rebound double-double while Junior Elliana Loffreno added 12 points in the victory. Sophomore Avery Nalducci scored 10 points in the loss for the Mustangs.
Manchester 47, Central Regional 42
Manchester held on to defeat Central Regional in a tightly contested game behind a game-high 26 point performance from Sophomore Madeline Nolan. Manchester recorded 22 total steals as a team with suffocating pressure defense throughout the game.
