Shore Sports Insider 2026 Week 4 Girls Lacrosse Top 10
Shore Sports Insider Girls Lacrosse 2026 Week 3 Top 10 Rankings
It was another chaotic week of Shore Conference lacrosse, with ranked teams continually defeating each other. While each team’s overall resume remains key to the rankings, I am now placing more emphasis on the eye test after watching most of the top ten. Head-to-head results still matter, but with every top-10 team besides Trinity Hall having lost to at least one other Shore Conference team, exclusive reliance on those matchups isn’t feasible.
1. Trinity Hall (7-0) Last Week: 1

It was another dominant week for the Monarchs, taking down No. 4 Red Bank by a score of 9-4 and routing No. 5 Manasquan, winning that game 13-3. Trinity Hall also picked up a non-conference win against Holy Spirit to boost their record to 7-0. In the Monarchs’ seven games, they have outscored their opponents 98-33.
The offense is powered by junior Chiara Donohue, who has an impressive 46 goals and four assists, along with forcing 39 turnovers. Junior O’Malley Eldridge has also shone for the Monarchs. Eldridge has 20 goals and eight helpers. The Monarchs have also gotten big contributions from sophomores Sarina DeRosa and Lyla Lu. DeRosa is tied for second on the team in points with 28 (13 G, 15 A), and Lu has been all over the stat sheet, tallying double digits in everything except assists.
The Monarchs face three huge tests this week, playing Ocean City, the best team in the Cape Atlantic League, on Monday, followed by a showdown at No. 3 Rumson-Fair Haven on Thursday, and finishing with another tough game on the road at Oak Knoll on Saturday.
2. Southern (6-1) Last Week: 6

Southern’s Mackenzie Sininsky (Photo by Patrick Olivero)
It was a crazy two-week stretch for the Rams, which saw them go from the team that dropped the furthest in last week’s top 10 to the biggest riser in this week’s top 10. Southern recorded three ranked wins against No. 7 Barnegat, No. 6 Middletown South, and No. 3 Rumson-Fair Haven.
Midfielder Mackenzie Sininsky had herself an incredible week of lacrosse. The sophomore scored four goals and added two assists against Middletown South, and one-upped herself against Rumson-Fair Haven, scoring five, including the tying goal and game winner. Senior goalie Adyson Griffin has an argument for the top goalie in the Shore Conference right now. Griffin is currently rocking a save percentage of 0.60 (63 for 105) and is only giving up five goals a game.
The Rams host Wall and Shore this week in games that they will be heavily favored in.
3. Rumson Fair Haven (4-2) Last Week: 4

Rumson-Fair Haven is 4-2 and just two plays away from being undefeated with two one-goal losses to No. 2 Southern and No. 5 Manasquan. The Bulldogs were just five seconds away from beating Southern this week if it were not for an ill-timed free position opportunity. The opening day win over No. 4 Red Bank continues to look stronger each week, and the Bulldogs added to a strong non-conference resume with a 20-10 win over Bridgewater-Raritan this week.
Junior attacker Chloe Kelly has 34 points (23 G, 11) in six games. Junior Harbour Goldsmith has consistently been disruptive on defense. Senior midfielder Chase Memmott has 15 points (5 G, 10 A), 28 draw controls, and 16 forced turnovers in her new role, after playing primarily as a defender last season.
The Bulldogs have a chance to silence the early-season critics this week with games against No. 10 Manalapan on Monday, top-ranked Trinity Hall on Thursday, and Allentown on Saturday.
4. Red Bank (5-2) Last Week: 5

This one was a coin flip between the Bucs and the Warriors, though the Bucs get the nod at No. 4 for losing by fewer goals to top-ranked Trinity Hall and recording wins over No. 6 Middletown South and No. 2 Southern. Red Bank is an experienced squad that has continued to improve throughout the season.
Senior Karlie Ruland, consistently strong, continues to produce with 30 points (10 G, 20 A) and 37 draw controls. Likewise, fellow senior Chloe Keating has contributed 21 goals and eight assists. Helping this dynamic duo, senior Kathleen Deverin has enhanced the offense by playing a more aggressive role and tallied 20 points (8 G, 12 A), while sophomore Maddie Pierson, adding to the team’s depth, has scored 12 goals this year.
The argument for this spot will be settled on Thursday, as the Bucs host No. 5 Manasquan. Red Bank also has a road game against Morris Knolls on Saturday.
5. Manasquan (5-3) Last Week: 3

Manasquan’s Dylan Carnahan (Photo by luch.visualz)
Manasquan had a very Jekyll-and-Hyde kind of week. They started out the week with a strong performance, beating Shore 17-9. They were tied with No. 1 Trinity Hall at the half; however, things fell apart from there, and the Warriors lost 13-3. When Manasquan is on, they have proven that they can beat top teams, as evidenced by their game against No. 3 Rumson-Fair Haven. When the Warriors are off, they can fall apart and lose by double digits to top-tier teams.
Manasquan is a young team, but ultra-talented. Chloe Stevens, Sarah Sharpe, and Dylan Carnahan are a very dangerous trio. Stevens has 23 goals, Sharpe has 16, and Carnahan has 11 goals while showing a knack for coming up in big spots.
Manasquan has a tough slate this week, hosting No. 9 Central on Tuesday and traveling to No.4 Red Bank on Thursday.
6. Middletown South (5-3) Last Week: 2

Middletown South finds itself the biggest faller on the list, dropping to sixth. The Eagles are coming off a 1-2 week after losing to No. 2 Southern and No. 4 Red Bank, and beating Middletown North on Tuesday. The Eagles hold a ranked win over Manasquan, but have lost to a common opponent, unranked Shore, that Manasquan beat, and currently have a worse overall resume.
Junior attacker Hayley Jamison has 36 points (25 G, 11 A), while sophomore attacker Ashley Penn has 27 points (22 G, 5 A).
Looking ahead, Middletown South has one game on tap this week, a road game against St. Joseph Hammonton.
7. Barnegat (6-1) Last Week: 8

The Bengals move up this week after going 2-0 with wins over No. 10 Manalapan and Lacey, coupled with Central falling after two losses. Barnegat is now in sole possession of first place in the Colonial Division. Their only loss came at the hands of No. 2 Southern in a competitive game.
Junior Ella Tortoricci continues to have a strong season, playing excellent offense and defense. Junior Sadie Guiro has 17 goals and seven helpers to go along with 19 draw controls. Senior Lizzie Medina is having an excellent season as well and is currently on pace to shatter her career high of 26 goals; she currently has 15.
The Bengals face off against Toms River North and No. 9 Central this week, as they look to continue a strong start to the season.
8. Point Boro (5-2) Last Week: 10

Point Boro has surged after starting the preseason unranked with strong wins over ranked teams and teams on the bubble. The Panthers took care of business against Lacey before heading on the road to knock off No. 9 Central.
Lily Scalabrini and Audrey Gilbert have formed a dynamic duo for the Panthers. The two have combined for 36 goals and 14 assists, helping pace a potent offense. Senior midfielder Francesca Skowronski has been fantastic on draw controls, helping the Panthers win 34 possessions.
Point Boro has a difficult week ahead, facing a bubble team in Holmdel on Monday and No. 10 Manalapan on Thursday.
9. Central (5-2) Last Week: 7

Central’s Brianna Nelson (Photo by Patrick Olivero)
The Golden Eagles played a very tough week of competition and went 1-2. Central lost to unranked Toms River East and No. 8 Point Boro, but did manage a win against Holmdel, which, along with a win against No. 10 Manalapan earlier in the season, keeps them in the top 10.
Sophomore Addison Frulio has been sensational with 41 points (33 G, 8 A). Senior Brianna Nelson has 29 points (25 G, 4 A).
This next week of games will be critical for the Golden Eagles. They travel to No. 5 Manasquan on Tuesday and host divisional rival No. 7 Barnegat on Thursday before finishing the week against Toms River South.
10. Manalapan (7-3) Last Week: 9

Manalapan’s Aryelle Stein (Photo by Patrick Olivero)
The Braves went 2-2 with wins over Red Bank Catholic and Howell and losses to No. 7 Barnegat and Old Bridge. Although the Braves have not beaten anyone currently ranked in the top 10 (Shore was ranked at the time they beat them), they have not yet lost to a Shore Conference team outside the top 10.
Manalapan has a high-octane offense, although its defense has been shaky. Stein and Alcantara continue to score like their hair is on fire, combining for 90 goals (Stein 56, Alcantara 34).
The Braves have two big tests this week as they take on No.3 Rumson-Fair Haven tomorrow and No. 8 Point Boro on Thursday in a make-or-break week as far as the rankings are concerned.
Bubble
Holmdel (6-2)
The Hornets are the first team on this list that just missed the cut. They have battled against strong competition this year narrowly losing to No.6 Midd South and No.9 Central by a combined three goals. Sophomore Ryann Buchan is having a monster year with 49 points, (29 G, 20 A). The Hornets have a big test Monday as they play No.8 Point Boro, and they finish the week with Toms River South.
Brick (6-0)
The Dragons are the only other undefeated team in the Shore Conference right now outside of top-ranked Trinity Hall. The Dragons earned a quality win over a bubble team from last week in Toms River East and received some consideration for a top 10 spot. Senior midfielder/attacker Reese Achille is having a strong year posting 39 points (24 goals 15 helper). Brick plays Monmouth and New Egypt this week. The challenge for the Dragons is that their schedule does not currently feature any top 10 teams leaving them relatively no margin for error, although they travel to Holmdel next week who is currently on the bubble.
