One of the Shore Conference’s most prolific scorers, Nick Caruso powered the Toms River East offense throughout a standout senior season. The Wagner commit and Second Team All-American Division selection by the Shore Conference Coaches Association piled up 65 goals, 21 assists, 86 points, and 36 ground balls while consistently producing against top competition. Caruso delivered some of his best performances in marquee matchups, including scoring five goals in Toms River East’s Shore Conference Tournament upset of Shore.
Luke Gaffney, Sr., Middletown South

A prolific scorer throughout his career, Luke Gaffney put together another outstanding season for Middletown South. The senior produced 57 goals, 22 assists, 79 points, and 47 ground balls while earning Colonial Division Offensive Player of the Year honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association. Gaffney delivered one of his best performances in Middletown South’s Shore Conference Tournament upset of Red Bank, recording four goals and two assists to help lead the Eagles to the victory.
Caden Lucich, Sr., CBA

A key contributor to Christian Brothers Academy’s success throughout the season, Caden Lucich provided a consistent offensive presence for one of the Shore Conference’s top teams. The Ursinus commit earned First Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association after totaling 24 goals, 15 assists, 39 points, and 20 ground balls. Lucich saved one of his best performances for the postseason, recording three goals and three assists in CBA’s Shore Conference Tournament semifinal victory over Holmdel.
Reid Spallone, Sr., Shore

A dynamic all-around player for Shore, Reid Spallone filled the stat sheet while helping lead the Blue Devils throughout the season. The RPI commit earned Second Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association after totaling 40 goals, 32 assists, 72 points, and 63 ground balls. Spallone showcased his ability to impact the game as both a scorer and playmaker in an early-season victory over Red Bank, finishing with four goals and two assists in one of his top performances of the year.
Justin Valentino, Jr., Red Bank

One of the Shore Conference’s most productive offensive players, Justin Valentino spearheaded the Red Bank attack during a standout junior season. The Iona commit piled up 53 goals, 34 assists, and 87 points while also collecting 25 ground balls, proving equally dangerous as a scorer and facilitator. Valentino turned in one of the top individual performances in the Shore this season when he erupted for 10 points on five goals and five assists in a victory over East Brunswick.
Midfield
Blake Ahmann, Sr., Rumson-Fair Haven

A key piece of Rumson-Fair Haven’s championship-winning midfield, Blake Ahmann provided a steady offensive presence throughout the season. The senior totaled 33 goals, 15 assists, and 48 points while earning Second Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association. After missing the Bulldogs’ first meeting with Christian Brothers Academy because of an injury, Ahmann made his return count in the Shore Conference Tournament final, recording three goals and an assist to help lead Rumson-Fair Haven to the championship.
Patrick Freud, Sr., Wall

A standout two-way midfielder for Wall, Patrick Freud capped his career as one of the program’s most accomplished players. The Sacred Heart commit and Second Team All-American Division selection by the Shore Conference Coaches Association finished with 44 goals, 32 assists, 76 points, and 68 ground balls during his senior season while surpassing the 200-point mark for his career. Freud delivered one of the Shore Conference’s top individual performances in the state tournament, erupting for seven goals and four assists in a playoff victory over Delran.
Lucas Longo, Sr., Manasquan

One of the veteran leaders on a Manasquan team that reached the South Jersey Group 2 championship game, Lucas Longo delivered another strong season for the Warriors. The Middlebury commit earned Second Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association after totaling 33 goals, 17 assists, and 50 points. Longo turned in one of his top performances of the year against Red Bank Catholic, finishing with four goals and an assist while continuing to provide a steady scoring presence for the Warriors.
Jackson O’Keefe, Sr., Middletown South

A dynamic playmaker for Middletown South, Jackson O’Keefe played a leading role in the Eagles’ offensive success throughout the season. The senior totaled 51 goals, 33 assists, 84 points, and 26 ground balls while earning First Team All-Colonial Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association. O’Keefe showcased his ability to take over a game in a late-season upset victory over Shore, finishing with three goals and six assists in one of his top performances of the year.
Jack O’Reilly, Sr., Manasquan

One of the Shore Conference’s top all-around midfielders, Jack O’Reilly put together a standout senior season for Manasquan. The Cornell commit and Second Team All-American Division selection by the Shore Conference Coaches Association finished with 40 goals, 32 assists, and 72 points. O’Reilly turned in one of his best performances in a victory over Red Bank Catholic, totaling four goals and three assists. His final season culminated in a return trip to the South Jersey Group 2 final, where Manasquan fell to Ocean City in a memorable quadruple-overtime contest.
Long-Stick Midfielder
Mickey McGovern, Sr., Ocean

The Constitution Division Defensive Player of the Year, Mickey McGovern was one of the Shore Conference’s premier defensive players and a constant force for Ocean throughout his senior season. The Detroit Mercy commit combined shutdown defense with outstanding production, totaling 21 goals, eight assists, 29 points, and an impressive 119 ground balls. McGovern showcased his versatility with three goals in a game against Wall and delivered one of his most complete performances in a victory over Middletown North, finishing with two goals, one assist, and 19 ground balls.
Short-Stick Defensive Midfielder
Joe Egan, Jr., Red Bank Catholic

The Constitution Division Offensive Player of the Year, Joe Egan established himself as one of the Shore Conference’s premier short-stick defensive midfielders during a dominant junior season at Red Bank Catholic. The Rutgers commit made an impact in every phase of the game, totaling 49 goals, 23 assists, 72 points, and 93 ground balls while excelling on both ends of the field. Egan delivered one of the Shore’s top individual performances of the season in a victory over Toms River North, erupting for six goals and four assists.
Faceoff Specialist
Jaden Cavise, So., Rumson-Fair Haven

A key part of Rumson-Fair Haven’s championship season, Jaden Cavise excelled at the faceoff X while competing against one of the toughest schedules in New Jersey. The sophomore earned Second Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association after winning 310 of 483 faceoffs, good for a 64 percent success rate, while also contributing 115 ground balls and two goals. Cavise’s ability to consistently generate extra possessions played a major role in the Bulldogs’ run to Shore Conference Tournament and South Jersey Group 1 championships, as well as a share of the American Division title.
Will Conway, Sr., Manasquan

One of the Shore Conference’s top faceoff specialists, Will Conway played a pivotal role in Manasquan’s run to the South Jersey Group 2 championship game. The Scranton commit won 164 of 236 faceoffs, good for a 69 percent success rate, consistently giving the Warriors a possession advantage against top competition. Conway also contributed offensively, scoring five goals during the season, including two in Manasquan’s sectional semifinal victory over Robbinsville.
DEFENSE
Deven Behal, Sr., Holmdel
A key member of Holmdel’s defensive unit, Deven Behal played an important role in the Hornets’ success throughout the season. The senior earned Second Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association after helping anchor a defense that consistently challenged opposing offenses. Alongside Shore Sports Insider Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Cermele, Behal provided a steady presence on the back end while contributing 25 ground balls.
Nate Borenius, Sr., Red Bank

The leader of Red Bank’s defensive unit, Nate Borenius served as a steady and reliable presence on the back end throughout the season. The senior earned Second Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association after helping anchor the Buccaneers’ defense against some of the Shore Conference’s top offenses. Borenius also contributed offensively with a goal and three assists while collecting 37 ground balls and consistently making his impact felt beyond the stat sheet.
Lucas Iliescu, So., Southern

One of the Shore Conference’s top young defensive players, Lucas Iliescu emerged as a key contributor for Southern during his sophomore season. A physical defender with a knack for disrupting opposing offenses, Iliescu earned Second Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association while helping anchor the Rams’ defensive unit. His versatility was also on display throughout the season, as he stepped in at the faceoff X when needed and consistently provided Southern with valuable minutes in multiple roles.
Luke Iorio, Jr., Southern

A versatile player for Southern, Luke Iorio made an impact in a variety of ways throughout the season. The junior earned First Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association after helping the Rams with his offensive production, defensive play, and willingness to step into the faceoff role when needed. Iorio finished with six goals and two assists while consistently providing Southern with valuable versatility and leadership on the field.
Goalie
Connor Doel, Sr., Manalapan

The Colonial Division Defensive Player of the Year, Connor Doel capped a remarkable career as Manalapan’s all-time saves leader with 812 career stops. The Embry-Riddle commit turned in another outstanding season in net, recording 226 saves, allowing 131 goals, and posting a 63.3 save percentage. Doel’s consistency, leadership, and ability to make difficult saves helped establish him as one of the Shore Conference’s premier goalkeepers throughout his career.
Christian Murphy, Sr., Brick Memorial
A standout performer in goal for Brick Memorial, Christian Murphy consistently came through with big saves throughout the season. The senior recorded 306 saves, allowed 163 goals, and posted an impressive 65.2 save percentage while helping lead the Mustangs to a Coaches Cup championship. Murphy produced at least 15 saves in 12 different games and earned Second Team All-Colonial Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association for his efforts.
