Week 7 SSI Football Podcast to feature Donovan Catholic and Red Bank Catholic

The Week 7 edition of the SSI Football Podcast will spotlight a highly anticipated showdown between the Shore Conference’s top two ranked teams, as Red Bank Catholic and Donovan Catholic join Monday night’s live show at Meadow 28 in Farmingdale.

Shore Sports Insider’s Dan Yeserski and Dave Smith will welcome Red Bank Catholic head coach Mike Lange and sophomore running back Gabe Kemp at 5 p.m., followed by Donovan Catholic head coach Dan Curcione and senior running back Alex Staten at 6:30 p.m.

Both programs enter Week 7 riding high after securing at least a share of their respective division championships. Red Bank Catholic is coming off a thrilling 31-28 victory over rival Rumson-Fair Haven that clinched a share of the Class A North title, while Donovan Catholic earned a share of the Class A South crown with a 24-7 win over Point Boro.

The Griffins currently hold the No. 1 spot in the latest Shore Sports Insider Top 10, with the Caseys right behind them at No. 2. Their highly anticipated matchup presents a rare clash between the Shore Conference’s top two teams, with the winner positioned to claim the No. 1 ranking heading into the final stretch of the regular season.

Yeserski and Smith will sit down with both coaches and players to discuss their championship seasons, key contributors and what it will take to come out on top in one of the season’s biggest matchups.

Between the two guest segments, the hosts will recap an eventful Week 6, examine the latest Top 12 rankings and preview other notable Week 7 games from around the Shore Conference.
