The Westampton Tech front-court duo of Jason Livingstone and Henry Njoga combined for 33 points and 21 rebounds to provide the foundation and Alexander Jeanty sparked a game-breaker third-quarter run that sparked the Panthers (23-8) to a win over the Eagles (17-12) that clinches the program its first ever sectional championship.

Livingstone scored a game-high 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds and highlighted a 9-2 start to the game with a pair of dunks. Njoga scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half and also pulled in 12 rebounds.

Jeanty scored seven of his nine points during a 14-0 third-quarter run, during which he also swiped three steals during the run. Middletown South began the third quarter with a 10-2 run that cut a nine-point halftime deficit to 31-30, but the 14-0 answer during a three-minute stretch gave Westampton Tech a 45-30 lead heading to the fourth quarter.

Senior Clyde Ferris scored all 18 of his points in the first three quarters, including eight in the third quarter to help New Egypt build a 36-30 lead with under three minutes to go in the period before Salem scored the last six points of the quarter to tie the game heading into the fourth.
