1. Red Bank Catholic (27-4) Last Week: 1 – The longest win streak in the Shore Conference extended to 21 games last week after the Caseys defeated St. Rose at the buzzer to advance into the South Jersey Non-Public A championship round. Addy Nyemchek scored the game-tying basket with one second left and drew the foul to set up the winning free throw. RBC plays top-seeded Paul VI Monday at Lenape High School. If the Caseys win, they will defend the Non-Public A title on Friday at Rutgers.

2. St. Rose (22-6) Last Week: 2 – Heartbreak struck St. Rose for a second straight game against RBC, losing at the buzzer in the South Jersey Non-Public A semifinal. St. Rose ends the season as the only Shore Conference team to defeat RBC during the season. St. Rose will have some positions to fill for next season, but bring back three starters including Player of the Year finalist Jada Lynch.

3. Manasquan (23-5) Last Week: 3 – Manasquan cruised to the Central Jersey Group 2 title by defeating Rumson, 57-38. The Warriors won by an average of 20 points in their three sectional games. With the win, Manasquan has now won 10 out of the last 11 CJ2 titles. Manasquan will face Middle Township on Wednesday in the Group 2 semifinal round. The Warriors defeated Middle Township, 52-24, in last year’s Group semifinal game. If Manasquan wins, it will play for the Group 2 title on Sunday at Rutgers.

4. St. John Vianney (22-7) Last Week: 4 – The Lancers’ season came to a close in heartbreaking fashion in the South Jersey Non-Public A semifinal round. SJV was up 45-43 in the closing seconds when Stella Lockhart grabbed a rebound, but a questionable jump ball was called to give Paul VI the ball and allowed them to tie the game. Paul VI ended up winning in overtime to advance to the finals. SJV only graduates two players and returns its three leading scorers next season.

Ranney has several key pieces to replace for next season, including leading scorer Haley Poser.

Trinity Hall built an early lead in the first quarter before St. Rose cut it to one point. Throughout the game, both teams went on runs to keep it close, but the Roses pulled out the victory. The Monarchs only graduate one starter for next year and will get a boost with Teegan Drennan returning from injury.

7. Neptune (17-11) Last Week: Not Ranked –  Neptune winning the Central Jersey Group 3 title was not on many people’s bingo cards at the start of the season, but that is what the Scarlet Fliers did by defeating second-seeded Red Bank Regional, 55-50, to win their first title since 2011. Neptune did not have an easy road to get there either. After winning their first round game against Hopewell Valley 61-30, the Scarlet Fliers went on the road to defeat No. 4 seed Colts Neck, 48-43, then defeated top-seeded Westampton Tech, 55-54, in overtime. Neptune will play Cherry Hill West in the Group 3 semifinal on Tuesday at Deptford High School. If they win. they play for the Group 3 title on Saturday at Rutgers.

RBR ran into a buzzsaw in the finals, getting beat by No. 5 Neptune, 55-50. RBR only graduates one player in Caroline Polloway for next season.
