2026 Shore Sports Insider All-Shore Boys Lacrosse Teams

Shore Sports Insider is proud to unveil its 2026 All-Shore boys lacrosse teams and season-ending award winners featuring the top performers from the 2026 Shore Conference boys lacrosse season.

SSI’s boys lacrosse All-Shore teams were selected by boys lacrosse reporter Dave Smith based on in-person game coverage this season and on speaking with coaches about their own players and opponents during and after the season.

Finn Buchan capped a standout senior season as the driving force behind Holmdel’s offense. The Stevens Institute of Technology commit and First Team All-American Division selection by the Shore Conference Coaches Association piled up 60 goals and 41 assists for 101 points while also contributing 62 ground balls, showcasing his ability to impact the game in multiple ways. Buchan reached a season-high with six goals in a victory over Middletown South and consistently delivered as both a scorer and playmaker throughout the season.

Luke Lydon, Sr., Rumson-Fair Haven

The 2026 Shore Sports Insider Offensive Player of the Year, Luke Lydon was the centerpiece of a Rumson-Fair Haven team that captured Shore Conference Tournament and South Jersey Group 1 championships while also sharing the American Division title. The Boston University commit cemented his place in program history as RFH’s all-time leading scorer after producing 56 goals, 49 assists, and 105 points during a dominant senior season. A dynamic playmaker and finisher, Lydon dished out a career-high eight assists in a victory over Wall and reached the five-goal mark four times throughout the year.

Shea O’Donnell, Jr., Southern

A key contributor to Southern’s success, Shea O’Donnell emerged as one of the Shore Conference’s most productive offensive players during his junior season. The First Team All-American Division selection by the Shore Conference Coaches Association totaled 61 goals and 30 assists for 91 points, providing a consistent scoring presence for the Rams throughout the year. O’Donnell elevated his play during Southern’s run to the South Jersey Group 4 championship, recording 10 goals and four assists over four state tournament victories to help lead the Rams to the title.

Teddy Whitehouse, So., Rumson-Fair Haven

One of the Shore Conference’s top young offensive talents, Teddy Whitehouse played a major role in Rumson-Fair Haven’s championship season as a sophomore. The First Team All-American Division selection by the Shore Conference Coaches Association finished with 47 goals, 19 assists, and 66 points while consistently producing against top competition. He scored a career-high six goals in a victory over Wall and continued to shine in the postseason, totaling 13 goals and five assists during the Bulldogs’ five-game playoff run.

Midfield

Jack Cannon, Sr., Holmdel

One of the Shore Conference’s premier athletes, Jack Cannon orchestrated Holmdel’s offense with his vision and ability to create scoring opportunities for his teammates. The senior earned First Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association after amassing 23 goals, 66 assists, and 89 points while also collecting 62 ground balls, establishing himself as one of the area’s top all-around performers. Cannon’s passing ability was on full display in Holmdel’s North Jersey Group 2 quarterfinal victory over Montville, when he totaled three goals and seven assists in a dominant postseason performance. One of the most accomplished athletes in school history, Cannon will play football at Dartmouth.

Christian Fox, Jr., CBA

A controlling presence in the midfield for one of the Shore Conference’s top teams, Christian Fox impacted the game in a variety of ways for Christian Brothers Academy. The Notre Dame commit and First Team All-American Division selection by the Shore Conference Coaches Association combined skill, athleticism, and field awareness to finish with 23 goals, 16 assists, and 59 points while helping drive the Colts’ success throughout the season. Fox’s ability to initiate offense, create opportunities for teammates, and influence play between the lines made him one of the Shore’s top midfielders.

Gabe Pape, Sr., Red Bank

A consistent offensive force throughout his career, Gabe Pape capped his time at Red Bank as one of the program’s most accomplished players. The Boston University commit and Second Team All-American Division selection by the Shore Conference Coaches Association totaled 38 goals, 12 assists, and 50 points during his senior season, finishing his career with an impressive 211 points. Pape delivered one of his top performances of the year against Robbinsville, erupting for a season-high seven points while continuing to showcase the scoring ability that made him a fixture in the Bucs’ attack.

Kyle Sininsky, Jr., Southern

One of the Shore Conference’s most dangerous offensive weapons, Kyle Sininsky played a leading role in Southern’s run to the Group 4 state championship game. The Mount St. Mary’s commit and First Team All-American Division selection by the Shore Conference Coaches Association produced 61 goals, 38 assists, and 99 points during a standout junior campaign, consistently making an impact as both a scorer and playmaker. Sininsky elevated his game in the postseason, totaling 11 goals and 11 assists during Southern’s run to a state final appearance.

Danny Varone, So., CBA

One of the Shore Conference’s top underclassmen, Danny Varone continued to establish himself as one of the state’s premier young players during a standout sophomore season. The uncommitted five-star recruit and First Team All-American Division selection by the Shore Conference Coaches Association totaled 56 goals, 22 assists, and 68 points while serving as a key piece of Christian Brothers Academy’s attack. Varone saved one of his best performances for the postseason, erupting for six goals and two assists in CBA’s Shore Conference Tournament semifinal victory over Holmdel.

Joseph Whitehouse, Sr., Rumson-Fair Haven

The 2026 Shore Sports Insider Most Valuable Player, Joseph Whitehouse was the driving force behind a Rumson-Fair Haven team that shared the American Division title and captured the Shore Conference Tournament and South Jersey Group 1 championships. The Washington & Lee commit finished his senior season with 48 goals, 24 assists, and 72 points while consistently delivering in the biggest moments. Whitehouse turned in one of the Shore’s top individual performances of the season with six goals and three assists in a victory over Westfield. His season was cut short by an injury suffered during Rumson-Fair Haven’s South Jersey Group 1 championship win over Haddonfield, forcing him to miss the state final against Mountain Lakes.

Long-Stick Midfielder

Marcus Cermele, Sr., Holmdel

The 2026 Shore Sports Insider Defensive Player of the Year, Marcus Cermele redefined what it means to be a long-stick midfielder with his ability to impact the game on both ends of the field. The Hobart & William Smith Colleges commit filled the stat sheet with 29 goals, 16 assists, 45 points, and 116 ground balls while serving as the centerpiece of Holmdel’s defense. Cermele’s offensive skill was on display throughout the postseason, highlighted by four goals and two assists in a North Jersey Group 2 first-round victory over River Dell and a three-goal performance in a Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinal win over Manasquan. His combination of defensive dominance, transition play, and offensive production made him one of the Shore’s most unique and valuable players.

Beau Devine, Sr., Rumson-Fair Haven

A key contributor to Rumson-Fair Haven’s championship season, Beau Devine earned First Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association after excelling in all facets of the game. The senior finished with 12 goals, 13 assists, 25 points, and 24 ground balls while providing a steady presence for the Bulldogs. Widely regarded as one of the Shore’s top players in transition, Devine’s ability to handle the ball and lead Rumson-Fair Haven’s clearing game was instrumental in the Bulldogs’ run to Shore Conference Tournament and South Jersey Group 1 championships.

Dax Klein, Jr., Manasquan

One of the Shore Conference’s top short-stick defensive midfielders, Dax Klein played a pivotal role in Manasquan’s run to the South Jersey Group 2 championship game. The Quinnipiac commit and First Team All-American Division selection by the Shore Conference Coaches Association made his impact felt all over the field, contributing 28 goals, 18 assists, and 46 points while also serving as a key defensive presence in the Warriors’ midfield. Klein showcased his two-way ability against perennial power Christian Brothers Academy, recording three goals and two assists in one of his top performances of the season.

Faceoff Specialist

John Little, Jr., CBA

One of the state’s premier face-off specialists, John Little dominated the X and played a major role in Christian Brothers Academy’s success throughout the season. The Villanova commit won 203 of 257 face-offs, good for an outstanding 79 percent success rate, while also contributing nine goals, five assists, 14 points, and 37 ground balls. Little’s impact extended well beyond possession battles, as he showcased his offensive ability with two goals and two assists in a victory over Shore Regional. His combination of face-off dominance and all-around production earned him the 2026 Shore Sports Insider Specialist of the Year award.

Defense

Blake Griswold, Jr., CBA

The defensive leader for a Christian Brothers Academy team that finished the season ranked No. 2 in the Shore Conference, Blake Griswold anchored one of the area’s top defensive units. A First Team All-American Division selection by the Shore Conference Coaches Association, Griswold consistently drew challenging assignments and helped set the tone for the Colts on the defensive end. The junior collected 32 ground balls while adding a goal and two assists, providing value beyond his primary role as one of the Shore’s premier shutdown defenders.

Toby Najenson, Sr., Rumson-Fair Haven

A team captain and respected leader for a Rumson-Fair Haven squad that captured Shore Conference Tournament and South Jersey Group 1 championships, Toby Najenson played an important role in the Bulldogs’ title-winning campaign. Najenson earned First Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association and provided a steady presence for Rumson-Fair Haven throughout the season. The Brown commit also enjoyed a memorable milestone when he scored the first goal of his varsity career in a victory over Bridgewater-Raritan.

John Paik, Jr., Rumson-Fair Haven

Despite missing the final three weeks of the season because of an injury, John Paik remained a cornerstone of a Rumson-Fair Haven defense that helped lead the Bulldogs to Shore Conference Tournament and South Jersey Group 1 championships. The Princeton commit earned First Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association after establishing himself as one of the Shore’s top defenders. Although his contributions extended far beyond the stat sheet, Paik added six goals and two assists while consistently making an impact with his physical play, athleticism, and defensive presence.

Danny Sullivan, Jr., Rumson-Fair Haven

One of the leaders of a Rumson-Fair Haven defense that helped power the Bulldogs to Shore Conference Tournament and South Jersey Group 1 championships, Danny Sullivan established himself as one of the Shore Conference’s premier defenders. The Virginia commit earned First Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association thanks to his disruptive play and ability to consistently create problems for opposing offenses. Sullivan also delivered one of the defining moments of Rumson-Fair Haven’s championship run when he scored a critical coast-to-coast goal in the Bulldogs’ Shore Conference Tournament title victory over Christian Brothers Academy.

Shayne Boresen, Sr., CBA

A steady presence in goal for Christian Brothers Academy, Shayne Boresen anchored one of the Shore Conference’s top teams throughout the season. The Manhattan commit earned First Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association after recording 223 saves, allowing 142 goals, and posting an impressive 61.1 save percentage. Boresen’s combination of shot-stopping ability, poise, and leadership made him one of the Shore’s premier goalkeepers.

Nick Hughes, Jr., Southern

The backbone of Southern’s defense, Nick Hughes turned in an elite goaltending season. The junior earned First Team All-American Division honors from the Shore Conference Coaches Association after recording 231 saves, allowing just 115 goals, and posting an outstanding 66.8 save percentage. Hughes consistently came through in key moments and established himself as one of the state’s premier shot-stoppers with his combination of athleticism, positioning, and composure in net.
