Coaches Cup Semifinals

(1) Freehold Township 8, (4) Marlboro 6

Freshman Addison Freyre scored 4 goals for the second consecutive game to lead the Patriots (15-2) past the Mustangs (10-6) and into the Coaches Cup Championship. Junior Gianna Neron scored 2 goals. Senior Alyssa Costagliola and junior Reese Metcalfe both added a goal. Junior May Luxenberg registered an assist. Senior goalie Savannah Ziccardi recorded 3 saves in the victory.

Senior Kammi Haeusser scored 4 goals in the loss for the Mustangs. Junior Hayden Paling netted 2 goals. Sophomore Dani Kapp tallied an assist. Junior goalie Amanda Collura stopped 11 shots.

Nondivisional

Middletown South 13, Red Bank Catholic 3

Freshman attacker Ashley Penn erupted for a career-high 6 goals along with 2 assists as the Eagles (11-6) cruised past the Caseys (10-8). Senior attacker Caroline Bedetti and junior attacker Anna Stumberger both netted hat tricks. Sophomore defender Alexis Marquis also added a goal. Freshman attacker Hayley Jamison tallied 2 assists. Senior goalie Anna Weise recorded 7 saves in the victory.

Sophomore Emily Manzo scored 2 goals and sophomore Alexandra Rogers added 1 goal in the loss for the Caseys.

Barnegat 17, St. Rose 2

Senior Emilia Ercolino exploded for a career-high 7 goals as the Bengals (13-6) routed the Purple Roses (2-10). Sophomore Molly Carroll scored 2 goals and tallied 2 assists. Sophomore Ella Tortorici scored 2 goals and tallied 1 assist. Junior Kylei Grant netted 2 goals. Senior defender Olivia Carll scored a goal and distributed an assist. Seniors Nicki Jackson and Kallie Kawka as well as sophomore Sadie Guiro each scored a goal. Junior Lizzie Medina distributed 2 assists while sophomore Jayla Duff distributed 1 assist. Junior goalie Allie Soden recorded 7 saves in the victory for the Bengals.

Nonconference

Pinelands 17, Winslow 2

Senior attacker Olivia Shertenlieb scored 4 goals as the Wildcats (6-7) cruised past the Eagles (3-12). Senior Alyssa Brown netted 3 goals and tallied 2 assists while senior Norah Maleski netted 3 goals and tallied 1 assist. Freshman Ava Plant scored 2 goals. Senior Olivia Nilsen added a goal and an assist. Seniors Kaitlyn Siino and Gabby Loporto as well as juniors Ava Blase and Ava Gialloreto each scored a goal. Junior goalie Madison Lowry saved 6 shots in the win.

Hightstown 17, St. John Vianney 5

The Lancers (10-7) fell to Rams (13-4) of the Colonial Valley Conference. Senior Makayla Mitchell scored 3 goals and assisted on 2 goals in the loss. Senior Emma Albano scored a goal and tallied an assist. Sophomore Adrianna Petriello also scored a goal.

Red Bank 8, Mount St. Mary 7

Junior midfielder Karlie Ruland scored 4 goals and junior goalie Nora Tavares saved 11 shots as the Bucs (10-6) topped Mount St. Mary (12-8). Junior attacker Chloe Keating scored 2 goals. Junior Ella Marc-Aurele and freshman Maddie Pierson both scored a goal. Juniors Kathleen Deverin and Kate Meulener both tallied an assist.

Oak Knoll 11, Manasquan 0

The Warriors (7-10) fell to the Royals (14-5) out of the New Jersey Girls Interscholastic Lacrosse League.

Notre Dame 16, Point Boro 7

The Panthers (10-6) fell behind 9-3 and could never recover in a loss to the Irish (17-3) of the Colonial Valley Conference. Junior midfielder Francesca Skowronski scored 2 goals in the loss. Senior attacker Kayden Cilento scored a goal and tallied 3 assists. Sophomores Aubrey Gilbert and Sienna Guerrieri both added a goal and an assist. Sophomores Lucy Hauser and Reilly Wahl both added a goal.

Neptune 8, Hamilton West 7

Senior Jha’nae LeGrande netted a hat trick as the Scarlet Fliers (4-13) edged out the Hornets (6-12). Sophomore Charlotte Donaway added 2 goals and 2 assists. Senior Charlie Curto scored 2 goals while sophomore Stella Curto scored 1 goal. Sophomore Claire Browning distributed 2 assists while sophomore Jessica Jimenez tallied 1 assist. Senior goalie Pomaah Kumah recorded 16 saves in the victory.
